DIGM 022A DIGITAL VIDEO 1

Transfer for credit: California State University
This course introduces the stages of video making, including narrative structure, and acquisition of video production skills in camera, lighting, sound and editing. Also covered are principals of motion graphics, and post-production delivery for webcast and new media. Production work, editing with software, readings, and screenings outside of class are assigned.

1 Unit Marketing Series

Marketing is an important part of web design, and this series of marketing classes has been created with the designer in mind.

DIGM 025 INTRODUCTION TO INTERNET

This course introduces topics pertinent to foundation skills in web marketing. The course focuses on assessing customer need, building a marketing framework, developing a brand's story, and strategies for traffic acquisition and developing long term relationships with customers. Other topics covered include: search engine optimization, web analytics and using a diverse range of media (video, ads, blogs) in order to develop a consistent and compelling marketing campaign.

DIGM 025A ADVANCED INTERNET MARKETING

This course focuses on writing an online marketing plan. This course also covers marketing software tools and services used in developing and managing a mobile marketing strategy.

DIGM 025B SOCIAL MEDIA MARKETING

This course provides a critical framework for developing a comprehensive social media campaign. Additional focus is on the digital tools and software used to manage social media content.

All courses are acceptable for credit at California State University, and are pass/no pass only.
