My name is Sara and I am a designer based in the bay area. I have a BS in Mechanical Engineering and a minor in Computer Science from Northwestern University and I will be pursuing a Masters of Design at UC Berkeley starting in the fall. I became passionate about design through my experiences at Design the Future at Stanford, my Design coursework and my work in Design For America and Engineering World Health. Hey, what's up! I’m Alex, your not-so-average graphic designer. So-Cal based, but currently living in the Bay Area. I am the founder and sole member of my very own design brand, Handsome Deviil Designs. I’m currently looking to take on freelance design work. Ideally, I’d love to work with nonprofits and small businesses. My specialties include illustration, brand identity, and print design. My name is Elisabeth Horton, I am currently enrolled at West Valley College. I have been doing graphic design work since I was a 15 year old Freshman in high school taking the Graphic Design 1 class. That class was what made me realize I was interested in this field. Since then I have dabbled in graphic design, website and application development and design, along with marketing and business. Throughout high school I continued in these studies, taking and being a teacher’s aid for graphic design 2, and taking computer science and art. In Graphic Design we covered everything from basic adobe cc practice to screen printing. Right now I am looking to get an AA degree in Web and App Design, as well as the three digital media certificates (Web and App Design, Graphic Design, and Marketing/Digital Communications). Currently after this semester I will be 5 classes away from achieving those goals.

Growing up in a Mexican household while attending Bellarmine College Prep and then SJSU, for a BA in Geography, has constantly given me the opportunity to connect with varying people and cultures. I believe this comes to fruition in my personal and school projects. Consistently exploring and experimenting with art on my own in differing software and traditional medium has given me a broad, but refined skillset.
