Over the course of studying in Digital Media students acquire skills in design, code, and strategies for problem solving user based needs. Some of the topics we dive in to include designing responsively for mobile platforms, the functionality and aesthetics of typography, designing layouts, marketing one's video channel, and user experience (ux) design. Once students have some core skills they are encouraged to seek internships and compete in local design competitions. Our classes balance the need of concepts and theory with practical skills in production and design.
