Description:Digital video is a dynamic way of delivering content through video, CD-ROM, and websites. This class focuses on video editing using Adobe Premiere. Emphasis is on using Premiere tools to capture, edit, and compress digital video.

Adobe Premiere is a video editing software use for web, CD-ROM, and NTSC delivery. Students will explore and demonstrate basic video editing principles, using adobe premiere, integrating video, audio, and animation, to create video for web, DVD-ROM, and Broadcast.

Objectives

On completion of this course students should be able to:

  1. Plan and create a digital video.
  2. Incorporate audio.
  3. Incorporate superimposed clips.
  4. Perform advanced Premiere editing.
  5. Work with shooting, capturing, and editing video.
  6. Write proposals, treatments, and storyboards for video projects.
